Probably the most traditional "Hawaiian" lei that we carry at Cindy's. FOR LOCAL PURCHASES ONLY. THIS LEI CANNOT BE SHIPPED OUT OF STATE DUE TO STRICT AGRICULTURAL REGULATIONS.
The word Hala means "fault, error, to pass". The hala lei is given to honor the passing of a loved one, to honor someone for a momentous achievement, or to honor the welcoming of a new venture. Our hala lei is garnished with neatly clipped lau'ae ferns and adds a handsome, natural dimension to this hardy lei. Also dries well.
Usually the receiver will keep this lei as a memento.
